The Possible · Issue 2 · November 2026
The Next Chapter Is Open
Two new websites, a season for gratitude, and a few honest ways to look at your money before the year closes.
From Rachael
A month for saying thank you.
This is the month we stop and say thank you, and I have a long list. I am grateful for every client who trusted us with the hardest numbers in their life, and for the ones who sent a friend our way. I am grateful for my two boys, who watched me rebuild and still believe their mom can do anything. And I am grateful to God for carrying me through the years when I could not see the way out.
November is also a good month to get honest with your money, before the holidays and the end of the year pull your attention everywhere else. So that is what the rest of this issue is about, along with something I have been waiting a long time to show you.
Thank you for being here. It means more than you know.
Gratitude does not erase what is hard. It helps you see what you already have to build with.
This month I hope you find one thing in your own life worth thanking, even if the year asked a lot of you.
The Next Chapter
Two new front doors.
When I sent you the first issue of The Possible, I promised you a place where I could share what I am building. This month I finally get to show you.
For years the work came first and the house around it came later. Key 2 Debt Free grew one client at a time, mostly by word of mouth, and the website never really caught up to the people we were helping. That changed in October.
I built two doors on purpose. Key 2 Debt Free is where we sit down with the numbers. RachaelJKatz.com is where I share everything beyond them: what I teach, what I write and what I believe.
Now Live
Calmer and clearer, and it starts where every good conversation about money starts: with an honest look at what you owe. You can book a consultation right from the site.
Now Live
My home for wealth, faith and wellness. You will find my books there, my speaking, and a place to sign up for this newsletter so you can share it with someone you love.
Not sure where to start? Take the Find Your Next Step quiz at RachaelJKatz.com, a short quiz that points you to the right place to begin.
The Money Myth
Myth: a lower payment means you are saving money.
It feels like relief, and sometimes it is. A lower monthly payment often comes from a longer repayment term, though, and a longer term can raise what you pay in total. So before you agree to any new payment, ask for two numbers: what it costs each month, and what it costs in total by the time it is paid off. If someone will only show you the first one, keep asking.
Ask for both numbers.
Key 2 Debt Free
How Key 2 Debt Free helps.
- 1
Review. We go through your debts with you, one at a time.
- 2
Compare. We look at the consolidation paths open to you and what each one would really cost.
- 3
Decide. If a consolidation loan makes sense for you, we refer you to a licensed lender, who makes every approval decision.
Key 2 Debt Free is not a lender and does not make loans. Consolidating does not automatically improve your credit score. A consultation is 30 minutes and costs $49, paid when you book at key2debtfree.com.
Your Next Move
Your fifteen minute reset.
Before the year closes, give yourself fifteen minutes to see where you stand.
- 1
Look at your balances and the due dates coming up.
- 2
Decide what you can comfortably spend this season.
- 3
Pick one money task you will finish before the new year.
You do not have to change everything at once. A clearer picture is a good place to start.
The Shelf
Two books, one story.
Welfare to Wealthy
My story: how a single mom on welfare found her way out.
The Key
The framework: six moves from financial survival to financial freedom.
